Fox Wood Explorers

Welcome to Fox Wood Explorers!

We are a group of sensory learners, always up for some fun!

This half term our topic is "Healthy Living", so we are exploring lots of different ways to keep ourselves healthy. This includes making juices and smoothies with switch adapted equipment as well as fruit printing and using our senses to explore different healthy food items.

We are also participating in Maths Massage (music and movement exploring simple maths concepts including number and measure), Resonance Boards and Sound beam. Every Wednesday we have a Sound and Well-being session with Geta.

Swimming
We have a Musical Hydrotherapy session on Tuesday mornings, so please remember to send your swimming kit and 2 towels.

Individual Education Plans
These set out the priority targets that your child is working on for the term; these targets are linked to the overarching targets set out in your child's EHCP. IEPs are updated each half term and sent home. If there is anything that you would particular like us to be working on please just let us know.

Class Funds

We kindly ask for a voluntary contribution of £1.50 a week towards our class snack funds. You can send your own snack in if you would prefer to do this for your child.
